Beachkids has been established since 1990 providing quality and personal care to the children of the Waihi Beach community. 



At Beachkids we believe in providing an active and progressive learning environment for children. Beachkids Preschool & Childcare Centre have specialized teaching teams delivering outstanding care and educational programmes through partnerships with children and families.

Philosophy Statement:  “The most active learning and growing for children occurs from birth and in the early pre-school years".

Children learn through collaboration with adults and peers through guided participation and observation of others as well through individual exploration and reflection.

Beach Kids is licensed by the Ministry of Education.  The Centre will provide the Children with an environment that is safe secure and stimulating.  Children will be recognized for their own uniqueness and staff/adults will respect each child’s individual personality, learning style and family cultural background.  All children will be encouraged to gain skills and knowledge that will allow them to go on in life and become life long learners.”
